I have pretty much been passive all of my life. A few things that I felt strongly about, I ranted and raved about and nobody cared or listened. So I would shrug my shoulders and let it go. Nobody cared.
Then one day I stumbled onto Newsvine, where people were actually discussing what was and is going on in our World. I really have to thank Newsvine for that. I made a lot of friends, and a lot of enemies on there, but I also learned a lot. I learned there are a lot more people out there that do care. AND actually want to do something about the situation.
I have been retired for a few yrs. now and I have decided this is what I want to do with the rest of whatever life I have left. And just in time too. Our world is really going to hell and fast. And now I have a chance to help do something about it.
I didn't make it to the first Tea Party, ( I had pneumonia) but, I will sure be to all of the rest of them. And that is only one of the ways to right the wrongs. I am writing my Congressmen and Senators on a regular basis and demanding they listen to me. And they are.
Together, we can move mountains, and that is exactly what I intend to do.
